What would you do if you won an island? Students in Ms. True’s 4th grade class worked together to design a house they could live in. The house needed to be built to survive a natural disaster. They drew designs, built them, and made changes to make their structures better.
Students are gathered around desks in a classroom, engaged in a hands-on activity with craft supplies like scissors, glue, and red paper. Students work on a STEM project, building with craft sticks and clay, with a digital display showing "What do you need to survive a ?" and "How can you survive a ?". Students work together on a STEM project at desks with laptops and building materials.
