Kansas Masons honor outstanding teachers and outstanding students for their contributions to the community by promoting the liberal arts and sciences, contributing to the betterment of all mankind and being exemplary standard-bearers in leadership, scholarship, integrity and citizenship.

During the 1st Semester, Prairie Heights Elementary staff members selected Nova Womack, 4th grade, Justine Liddick, paraeducator and Sheila Hill, paraeducator for the award.

Mr. Richard Macy from Alta Vista Lodge #357 presented the awards. Honorees received a signed, official certificate from Grand Lodge, complete with the seal in gold foil and gifts cards of $50 for the teacher and $25 for the student.
